Company who intends to manufacture or import a chemical product needs to submit a chemical confirmation.
Especially, if the chemical product include other chemical types such as toxic chemical, restricted chemical, they need to submit other dossier separately.

For submitting the chemical confirmation, company needs to submit MSDS, LOC or Composition letter as well.
-MSDS: should disclose all 100% composition in there.
-LOC(Letter Of Confirmation): can disclose hazadous chemical substances only in LOC because of trade secret issue.
-Composition letter: if there is no secret issue, can submit all 100% composition letter.
KCMA(Korea Chemcials Management Association) will review it and will publish an approval letter called as Chemical confirmation statement.
Recently, MOE has published the partial amendment of Enforcement rule of Chemicals Control Act(CCA) on 29th Sep 2020.
With this amendments, chemical confirmation statement was revised and the related LOC(Letter Of Confirmation) was changed from 1st Oct 2020.

# Phase-in substance(s) subject to registration is deleted and it is replaced to Phase-in substance(s).
This is because Phase-in substance(s) subject to registration was deleted from 2019 under K-REACH.
